I took my 7 month old with a friend and her 1 year old. This was both our first time to chipmunks in Robina and needless to say it will be our last.
We were not impressed with the layout and activities it had to offer.
The place caters for under 1 and much older. However there was nothing for my 7 month old to play with.
And I don’t understand why they have a 0-4 years play area 🤦🏽♀️
Chipmunks Robina needs a revamp and more appropriate play areas for all ages.
10/10! We had my sons birthday party at Robina Chipmunks this past weekend and the Chipmunks team run this business like a well oiled machine! We were first to arrive and the place was nice and clean and the front desk staff so happy and helpful. It was a great experience!
I would previously come once a month. Last time I went the baby area was so bad that I left, it was not cleaned the night before as I got their right on opening. Bandaids, half eaten lollie packets, mentos laying on the ground ( massive choking hazard) the 10 minutes my baby was there his finger got jammed in the broken boat in the babies area. The wheel isn’t on properly. I told somebody and they said yeah it’s been like that for a while we are aware. the worst part was kids have taken bites out of the foam blocks and spat it out and they were still there. I understand why my children kept getting sick after visiting. The place is actually disgusting.
Had my daughters 5th birthday here last weekend and it was great! The kids had a ball and I didn’t have to cook or clean up. 👍😁 …
This place is chaotic! The toddler area (1 to 4) is too small and people don’t follow the rules. The problem are mainly parents not the kids, but the staff don’t keep the place in order. Went on a Saturday morning and there were staff members at the counters only, no staff around the play areas. It says “no socks no play”, but there was multiple children and multiple parents with no socks.
Parents leave the children totally unsupervised and a lot of them are not respectful with the smaller children.
There was a boy climbing up over the slider on top of all the other children and the parent with earphones outside of the play area doing nothing. Also two teenagers at the toddler area (1 to 4) going on the top of the rocking boat with kids inside, basically terrorising the place that should be for little kids and no one did anything about it. Just chaotic, do not recommend.
The staff is friendly, the rest is poor… Food is unhealthy which is paradoxal when you’re an amusement centre for active kids… The (too salty) fries are the only vegan, refined sugar-free and gluten-free option… they don’t even offer fresh fruits to sell for healthy snack and service is quite slow. If you visit, pack your picnic, wear old socks and clothes, cover the body of your kids, bring napkin, towels and a lot of sanitisers + patience. The facilities are quite dirty, tables sticky, chairs uncomfortable and most equipment is broken. Otherwise, on rainy days when you’re around Robina, Chipmunks is quite fun for 2 to 4 yo toddlers.
There are not that many attractions but overall place is good. I put it down one star as it’s a bit dirty and dusty. I’m sure that can be easily fixed.
It’s interesting that they have everything branded: chairs, tables, attractions, socks etc. nothing wrong with it. Just catch my eye.
Cafe is good as well. Parents will have some bites and kids won’t leave hungry. Be aware that kitchen closes 1.5 hours before 5pm.
I attended my grand daughters birthday party here recently. Lovely staff, the play areas are clean and inviting for the little ones 🙂
The food options were great also, lovely pizzas and coffee for the adults.
The party was fun for the children and the party room was good.
Good value for a small children's birthday party 🎉 All the kids had a blast.
